With influences that include Take 6, Rockapella, Acappella and
Glad, Rescue hopes to take its music to every corner of the globe.
The band's roots began in the spring of 1996 when Jason
Overstreet finished his senior year college recital for which he
wrote and performed several a cappella songs. Impressed with his
performance, his professors urged him to pursue this still
thriving music style. The encouragement led Jason to connect with
several high-school friends who shared his passion for singing.
Rescue was born.
With Jason, Rescue is comprised of Jason McKenney, Jason Pearce
and Josh McKenney.
The group's first CD has created an overwhelming number of
opportunities to help its members achieve their goal to reach
audiences in every corner of the world.
