IMA 2007 Countdown

As the onslaught of mail bins subside, the Independent Music Awards staff gets busy sorting through the thousands & thousands of entries submitted for consideration for this year’s IMAs.

Logging entries from 6 continents & 54 countries is just the first phase of this IMA journey. Packages are now being prepared for IMA Judges who will determine the IMA Winners.

The Finalists will be posted at the Independent Music Awards & Musician’s Atlas sites by October 19, 2007. These finalists will be featured on the IMA Vox Populi Jukebox where fans & industry can listen and vote for their favorite IMA artists.

While the Vox Populi results won’t affect the Judges final selections, it will deliver more opportunities for indie artists to get heard and win new fans. IMA Vox Populi Winners are promoted to industry and music fans via print, online and other promotional initiatives.
