Congratulations to the winners of The Art of Modern Rock:
The Poster Explosion

In the November issue of Chronicle Books sponsored our giveaway for 10 free copies of the book, "Art of Modern Rock." 

This book features over 200 cutting-edge posters created for Rock’s biggest names as well as highly regarded new acts, by some of the most talented graphic designers working in the industry.

This massive 11" x 13", 492-page book, is a must-have for Rock music fans and poster collectors. Chock full of the most sought after works of prominent artists – and featuring some of Rock’s greatest bands on tour and at key gigs, including limited run screenprints; it beautifully illustrates how graphics are used to enhance a band’s image and persona.

Authors Paul Grushkin and Dennis King, two of Rock’s premier historians, gathered the posters from around the world, selecting from nearly 8,000 submissions. The book includes a foreword by Wayne Coyne, founder and lead singer of The Flaming Lips.
