Q
uestion: Where do you turn when you need to book a tour, send out packages, contact Radio, Press, Publishers, Managers, Film & TV Supervisors, etc?

Answer: The Atlas, of course.

Well sure, you already knew that and now musician/journalist, Robin Aigner of American Songwriter (The Voice of the Songwriter Community) does too. In the current May/June edition of the publication, Robin tells how she successfully used The Musician's Atlas volume 2005 to book a regional tour of colleges and bars:

Robin awarded high praise for the extensive performance offerings: "all the clubs in Your Town. USA are likely in there"; and accuracy: "The Atlas scores big points for accuracy: only one package out of 60 was returned due to a wrong address; affordability: "And, because you won't need a private benefactor to afford its $39.95 cover price, this little gem will surely take you places"; comprehensiveness: "With contact info for radio, promoters, labels, booking agents, studios, publishers and much more (including Canadian markets), it makes getting your music to the right people easy".

Sadly, there were some listings, Robin didn't find in The 05 Atlas. Those in the know, know that the subscriber-based AtlasOnline has nearly 1/3 more listings than the print edition, with new listings and updates added weekly. With interactive functionality that allows you to hyperlink to emails and websites, create customized letters, mailing labels and email blasts, The AtlasOnline makes connecting with the music business easy.
