ABOUT: Arlette Is Metis is a descendant of the Blackfoot people (mother’s side) and the Little Black Bear Cree (father’s side). She has two years of Royal Conservatory Vocal training under her belt. She has performed at notable events including the Flatland Music Festival, Ness Creek Folk Festival, Regina’s Aboriginal Music Festival and Centre for the Arts, the 2005 National Aboriginal Day at the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Union of BC Indian Chiefs AGA and the Ucluelet Healing and Wellness Music Festival.
