Music Awards (IMAs) has helped indie musicians and labels overcome mainstream
obstacles & reach larger audiences & opportunities. Supporting a wide spectrum of music
genres including Punk and Social Action and design categories that include Music Video,
Merch, Packaging & Website Design,
IMA Winners are promoted to more than 11 Million
music fans & key industry decision makers including radio programmers, talent buyers,
music journalists and distributors.

The IMAs is not a contest. Created by The Musician's Atlas and co-sponsored by
mega retailer, Borders Books & Music; online retail giant, eMusic; radio promotions
gurus, The Planetary Group; social networking site, Trig.com; digital network, HavocTV
and radio tracking service, MediaGuide, IMA Winners receive yearlong print, online &
broadcast promotion, distribution & performance opportunities that puts them in front of
more than 11 Million new fans.

Winners are selected by influential artist & industry judges. Judges confirmed for the
upcoming program include: Les Claypool (Primus); Kevin Lyman (creator: Vans
Warped Tour and Taste of Chaos Tour);
Suzanne Vega; Angelique Kidjo;
Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance); Chuck Comeau (Simple Plan); Mavis Staples;

and reach throughout the international indie music community.

Winners & Finalists credit the program with boosting their visibility with festival & club talent
